Due to a variety of reasons, we have made the difficult decision to close our business and our last day will be October 7th 2022.

Unfortunately, we will be unable to accept any incoming work as we are fully booked until then. It has been a privilege to provide tailoring services to our many wonderful customers and we will miss you all.

We were closed today and will be closed tomorrow, Friday February 4th, due to covid exposure. Many of our customers are elderly and/or immunocompromised so we felt it was better to close temporarily to minimise the risk of transmission. The health and safety of our customers is a primary concern that we don't take lightly, so we will not be in the shop working on garments or interacting with customers until it is safe to do so. Hopefully that means Saturday if we have tested negative but we may have to be closed until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. I apologise for the inconvenience and we'll see you as soon as possible.

Here's a project I'll be working on this weekend: a navy greatcoat that has been through the wringer. There's a lot of work to be done and it will be done in stages per customer request. First stage is getting the bigger holes patched up. I'll be using fabric from an unsaveable pair of pants from a set of navy blues, made around the same time as the coat.
