I've spent quite a few days handing out flyers and talking to people in the RM. I have had some great encounters with people that live here and have received a lot of good ideas and suggestions. As the last day or two before the election draws near I just wanted to say that it's been a great experience so far and good luck to all candidates.

Had a good time helping out family for the zombie walk. A cold day but good turnout and raised a few dollars for Funds for Furry Friends. Thanks to Gillian for putting the event on and Bob FM for coming out in the cold. Did you know 68% of zombies vote!

I live with my wife Leslie & my youngest daughter Sophie in Chater, where we have resided for the past 5 years. During the day I work for the Province of Manitoba and in my spare time I enjoy home renovations and the occasional game of golf.
Like most everyone I want a safe community, with opportunities and growth for our families. Beyond that I want a council with Transparency. I want our constituents to know where our tax dollars go and why. I want a council with Honesty in our dealings with the public, and I believe in a council with Accountability to our constituents.
I believe that issues will always arise in a community, and as long as we find solutions that benefit the many vs those that speak the loudest, we will thrive as a community and work together. I don’t want our constituents to fall into the “Silent Majority”, while decisions are made by the loudest few.
• I want our RM to have more voters participating and feeling like their voices are being heard.
•I want improved communication; with more people involved in a technological way, including better websites for improved communication.
•I want the RM to be promoting businesses located in the RM.

Hi, I'm Shane Drohan. I've lived in the RM for the last 5 years and in the city of Brandon for the previous 27 years. I've decided to run for Reeve of the RM of Cornwallis to ensure that our municipality answers to you, the taxpayer.
