Come Try Something New is a recreational program designed for children ages 7–11 years who are interested in exploring a variety of sports, games, and activities.Each week, participants will have the opportunity to learn new skills, make friends, and discover activities they may never have tried before!

Bike Rodeo Postponed Due to Weather

Unfortunately, due to the weather forecast for tomorrow morning , we have made the decision to cancel the Bike Rodeo.

We know the children and families were looking forward to the event, but the safety of the children is the priority. The good news is that we will be working with Cycling PEI to reschedule the Bike Rodeo soon and will announce a new date as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing everyone at the rescheduled event!

Looking for a fun way to keep your child active this summer? Join our Just Kickin' It Soccer Program! This recreational program focuses on fun, basic skill development, and gameplay in a positive, non-competitive environment. Participants will learn soccer fundamentals while building confidence, making friends, and staying active.

INTRO TO SPORTS IS BACK - STARTS JUNE 16
Looking for a fun way to introduce your child to sports this summer? Our Intro to Sports program is designed for children ages 4–7 years who may be participating in organized sports for the very first time. Each week, participants will be introduced to a different sport while learning fundamental movement skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Cornwall Town Council will hold a Public Meeting on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Cornwall Civic Centre, 29 Cornwall Road, Cornwall. The purpose of the meeting is to give residents an opportunity to provide feedback to Council on the following items:

1. The Town of Cornwall has received an application to rezone Lot 18-4 Byway Avenue (PID 607960) from Public Service and Industrial (PSI) to Multiple Unit Residential (R4). Any amendments are subject to Section #22 of the Town of Cornwall Zoning and Subdivision Control (Development) Bylaw #422. Council will concurrently consider amending the Zoning Map (Schedule “A” to the Town of Cornwall Zoning & Subdivision Control (Development) Bylaw #422), and General Land Use Plan (Figure 5 of the Town of Cornwall 2022 Official Plan) for this rezoning application.

2. The Town of Cornwall has received an application to amend the Development Concept for Lots 40, 41 & 42 Heatherway Drive (being a portion of PID 1148626) and zoned Planned Unit Residential (PURD). Any amendments in the PURD zone are subject to Section #13 of the Town of Cornwall Zoning and Subdivision Control (Development) Bylaw #422. (Lots 40, 41 and 42 were previously approved for a total of 17 dwelling units and this application proposes a Change of Concept and Intensification resulting in a total of 24 dwelling units).

Exciting news 🚌 another option for residents to take T3 Transit. With increasing population the need for more routes has been an ongoing discussion!

Transit Update!

Starting Monday, June 15, T3 Transit is expanding weekday service in Charlottetown and Town of Cornwall PEI giving riders more options later into the evening.

Highlights include:
• Extended service on Routes 2, 3 and 23 (last downtown departure at 6:45 p.m.)
• Evening drop-off service departing at 9:30 p.m. (from Royalty Crossing)
•New evening departure to Cornwall at 7:15 p.m. (from Royalty Crossing)
These improvements help make it easier to get home from work, shopping and other activities.
