……………..TARGA IS HERE ………………………

Please be advised that Thursday, September 17 Targa will be racing through our community. Harbour Drive will be closed off between 9:30-11:30 a.m.

This year they are doing a second race in the afternoon in dedication to Mr. Patrick Phillips, who was involved in coordinating and cooperating with Targa for many devoted years to help with successful runs in our town. This dedicated race will happen on the same day, September 17, 2026 and Harbour Drive will be closed again from 3-5p.m. We thank everyone for your patience and understanding while these events take place.

Update: water has been restored and leak has been found and repaired!!

There will be an interruption in water for those residents on bedlam pond water source within the hour due to a water leak. The water will be off for an indefinite period of time for the day. Updates will be provided as they become available. We thank you for your understanding at this time.

Merrigan’s well issue.
Residents who are on Merrigans well water source please be advised there is an issue and water is very low. Please try to conserve water while maintenance works on resolving the issue. Please make sure all outdoor taps are turned off to avoid losing water completely. Thank you for your cooperation at this time.

🏛️ Civic Holiday Closure Notice – Monday, August 3

Please be advised that the Town’s Municipal Building will be closed on Monday, August 3, in observance of the Civic Holiday.

Public Advisory: Province-Wide Fire Ban Lifted

The province-wide fire ban issued on July 8 ends July 17 at midnight.

The Provincial Government reminds residents that it is still forest fire season in the province. Anyone planning to have an open outdoor fire should check the Fire Hazard Map beforehand.

Good Day,

There was a youth softball glove just brought into the town office by our
maintenance staff. It was left on Colliers field. I have it here at the office. If
they can describe the glove to me that would be wonderful. Love to get it
back to its rightful owner!! Please share
