For anyone looking for a good heart ♥️ pumping treck, The Whiskin trail is cleared at Greenwater as is the Sunset trail. They both have a good snow shoe base for snow shoeing.
It is breathtakingly beautiful out there!
Gets more stunning every year in my opinion ❤️

Some Great Hiking to be had at Greenwater PP.
It’s pristine, it’s wild and it’s free ✌️🤗
The Wiskin and Sunset trails are clear and ready to be snowshoe packed when the snow comes to stay!
Please note; the Wiskin trail would be classified as difficult: it has some challenging hilly terrain.
The Sunset has just a couple of hills.
Any way you go:
Get out there and let Nature surround you! ❤️

PLEASE KEEP OFF THE TRAILS WITH MOTORIZED VEHICLES!
Happy Sunday Friends of Greenwater Park!!
Went for a hike in the Park yesterday on the Sunset trail!
Was beautiful in the mist 🥰
But
I have a favor to ask of ATVers:
At times I am an ‘ATVer’ as well, but there are times that I just want to walk! And there are more hikers, I am sure 🤓
A small handful of us go out there with hand saws in the fall to keep the trails (Sunset, Whisken & Kidney Lake trails) clear of fallen trees. We do this with walking and snowshoeing in mind. I am asking if we can please keep these trails Free of motorized vehicles (atvs & snowmobiles)
I can’t make any rules out at our beloved park. 😊 However, there are endless miles and miles of trails for riding in our area ♾, but very few pristine hiking trails!
Thank you for your respect ✊
Let’s keep Greenwater Park clean and place we can all Enjoy 😊 She has so much to offer that goes far beyond words ❤️♾

The Whisken Lake trail and Sunset trail are both packed down with snowshoe tracks for all you Greenwater Love Snowshoers!!
(Side note: the Whisken Lake trail has a few steep hills that will get your heart ❤️ pumping; be prepared 😁)
