Chimo! 🏒🔥
With sincere gratitude, we would like to thank everyone involved in making the Firefighters vs. OPP Hockey Game this Wednesday such a great success.
The Firefighters Association extends a big thank you to our local OPP Detachment for their continued support of this event, including their very generous donation. Your ongoing partnership means a great deal to us.
We would also like to thank the many local businesses and community supporters who contributed in various ways — your generosity and involvement truly make events like this possible.
A very special thank you goes out to Landyn Johnson and his family. Landyn, who lives with Muscular Dystrophy (MD), proudly participated in the hockey game and played an important role in our fundraiser. Your strength, determination, and enthusiasm were truly inspiring.
Thanks to everyone’s generosity, a total of $2,100.00 was raised in support of Muscular Dystrophy, helping advance the MD mission:
Muscle. Mind. Mobility.
Thank you, Cochrane, for once again showing what a strong and caring community looks like. 💙

Cochrane Fire Department has seen an increase in residential structure fires this year and wants to urge residents to practice fire safety in their homes.

➡️ Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms must be on every level of your home and outside of all sleeping areas.

➡️ You should test all of your alarms every month to ensure they are working properly.

➡️ Have an escape plan and practice it. Every second counts in the event of an emergency.
