Community Voice: Intensely Local

Macro Community news magazines/ The development of intensely local community sites is a byproduct of the decline of print. The days of the newspaper being the official document of record for any given community has come to an end. All the members of our team pride themselves on publishing as many intensely local stories as we can process. Our community has so much to offer and we strive to be a positive voice for the community to focus on. With that said, we need your help.

News Magazine Model

The objective of the Northumberland magazines are to create a uniform news & info platform to allow “intensely local” coverage for each community . We’re using journalism to flourish and promote all sectors of the community which are currently being under-represented by the traditional news platforms in Northumberland County.

All communities deserve the ability to congregate on-line, with an expressed interest in promoting the people, news, events, stories, artists, places and business ventures, in an easy to uses, dynamic, beautiful presentable line portal. The keys to success are tied to creating and curating an indexed and search-able database which grow to become the ultimate local information point for the host communities.

We ask if you haven’t sponsored us to please consider it. Beecause of the generous financial support of our sponsors we’re able to reach nearly every population centre in Northumberland County and beyond, more than 31,000 users a week.

That’s a lot of reach. For this, we also give you our hearty thanks. We need you in 2019 too. We ask if you haven’t sponsored us to please consider it.

We employ more than eight part-time writers, photographers and creatives across the county. For us, it's vital that people are paid for their work they do in our community. Without community support this project would not be possible or sustainable.

Our sponsors allow us to report and publish grassroots stories, success stories and important events of our community. Our sponsors allow us to shout-out for those who have no voice. Our sponsors allow us to be a community news network, a voice for our entire community, by citizens for citizens.

We would like to thank our families, who allow us the freedom to be there for our community events,public meetings, important services and festivals and more. Without the support at home, we simply couldn’t get the job done today and tomorrow.
