Turns out, a quick browse in our local history room turned into a full-family genealogy breakthrough when she matched with her uncanny lookalike grandmother, Marvel, using our free library Ancestry computers! #

❤️📚Celebrating 1 year at our Cold Springs Branch! Seeing so many familiar faces, bright young readers, and neighbours connecting over a shared love of learning has made this past year truly special. Thank you for filling these walls with curiosity, kindness, and connection. Drop by any Wednesday between 3:00 and 6:00 PM to celebrate with us! 🥳✨

July 9 marked the one-year anniversary of the Township of Hamilton’s Cold Springs Branch, and we think it’s safe to say, year one was a page-turner!

With the support of Cobourg Public Library and our incredible residents, the branch has quickly become a welcoming place for learning and connection. In its first year, we welcomed more than 700 visitors, circulated over 1,500 books, and hosted programs for children, teens, adults, and seniors. A big thank you to CPL for being such a wonderful partner, and to our residents for embracing the branch and making it such a success. As we turn the page on year one, we’re looking forward to the next chapter, with new programs and great reads
