Good morning Orono! With spring finally in full bloom, it's time to think forward to our upcoming annual Orono Canada Day celebrations at the Library Lawn.
This year the event will take place on Wednesday June 24. See below for details on times and events that are part of this great celebration!

We are once again offering butterflies for sale, that you can release at the event, or take home to release later in the evening. Butterfly pickup is at 4:30PM.

PLEASE NOTE: If you plan to order butterflies, you need to do so by 4PM May 31...there will not be sales at the door as these creatures need to be pre-ordered from the hatchery. It's a great way to have fun with the kids, or to remember someone who has passed on from your family.

We will be addressed by the Hon. Jill Dunlop, Minister of Emergency Preparedness and Response, as we celebrate this year's theme of "Give To Gain" and feature some of the wonderful volunteer organizations from our community where you can get information on how to do do just this.
