Meet artist, author, and illustrator Stacey Chomiak for a behind-the-scenes look at the worlds of animation and children’s publishing! Stacey will share her creative journey, talk about working on popular cartoons, and lead a fun draw-along while offering professional tips for aspiring artists.

✨ Stacey has worked on beloved series like My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, authored the book Still Stace, and illustrated children’s books including Rainbow Boy and The Pride Parade.

In this hands-on workshop, teens will create stunning stained-glass-inspired art painted directly onto a bookend using vibrant gallery glass paints. Design something inspired by your favorite books, fandoms, or fantasy worlds and leave with a glowing piece of shelf décor that’s uniquely yours.

The Person Who Arrives: Connecting Disability Studies to Educational Practice for Teachers, Parents and Others

Leah will explore neurodiversity, inclusion, and the ways schools, families, and communities can better support diverse learners. A Q&A session will follow the presentation, and copies of the book will be available for purchase.
