Work is set to begin on Monday, May 25, 2026, and is anticipated to last for up to five days in the Chilliwack River Valley neighbourhoods of Sheldon Road and Osbourne Road.

The work is removing the temporary flood protection works (Hesco Barriers) now that there is high confidence for a low freshet risk this spring in Electoral Area E.

During this period of work, the FVRD is reminding everyone in the area to watch for signage, follow directions by workers, and stay away from the working equipment and impacted work sites for everyone’s safety.
