We would like to extend our best wishes to all of our members in the New Year. We hope to continue to grow, raise awareness on issues like overdose, discrimination, and day to day hurdles, challenges, and unfair treatment of drug users this year. We are going to, with strict social distancing practices, commence our Tuesday night meetings in the beginning of January. We will also be accepting donations of clean, warm, and gently used or new clothing happily. We are looking for a few special member to really step up and help us with day to day tasks and operating now that our numbers have increased significantly. This will be a volunteer based position with stipends paid as often as possible. Remember folks to please return with your empty Naloxone kits, and we will happily replenish them, instead of contributing to the pre-made kit shortages.

We would like to encourage engagement with our members and remind you that your voice is what drives this group and fuels us to progress. That being said, What would you like to see implemented in in the upcoming months? How do you think we can engage with the community? Who our there should we shift our focus to, in order to overcome an issue that seems never ending or unaddressed. Let's use our combined skills and experience to make a positive impact in this great community and beautiful city we call home. We would also like to give props to the downtown improvements. What an amazing transformation. Lets all take some pride in the changes being made.

WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING WITH FRASER HEALTH TO DEVELOP A PLAN FOR OPERATING WHILE ENSURING PROPER COVID-19 SOCIAL DISTANCING PROTOCALS. WE WILL BE REQUIRED TO ENFORCE ANY AND ALL SOCIAL DISTANCING PRACTICES WHEN OPERATING. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE IN THIS MATTER AND REMEMBER TO STAY SAFE AT THIS DIFFICULT TIME WE FACE.
