Our Services:

ADVISORY SERVICES
We provide basic business advisory services including free one-on-one coaching conversations for small to medium-sized business owners. If you’re wanting to grow your business in a specific way, we have a specialist that can help. BUSINESS LOANS
We provide business loans to early stage businesses and those businesses that are unable to meet the equity or experience

requirements of other lenders. We also receive referrals from other financial institutions. BUSINESS WORKSHOPS
In partnership with other local community members and agencies and through our Self Employment Program, workshops are designed to support businesses in all stages including startup, growth and expansion, as well as in succession planning. SELF EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM
We deliver the Self Employment Program in Chilliwack, Hope and Agassiz. The Self Employment Program is funded by the Provincial Government through Employment Insurance. Our services include one-on-one business development coaching and planning sessions along with workshops and information sessions.

🎤 LIVE PITCH NIGHT IS HERE!

Over the past 8 weeks, 12 Chilliwack artists took part in the 2026 Art Startup Challenge — a business development program, presented in partnership with the Chilliwack Arts Council, designed to help local creatives build sustainable businesses around their art.

On May 27, 5 finalists take the next step: pitching their businesses live to a panel of community judges, Shark Tank-style, for $3,000 and $1,500 in cash prizes.

Come cheer them on, and support our local artists and vibrant creative community.

We had such a great time at the Alito Pilates Collective influencer event this weekend — it really was inspiring.

The studio is beautiful, and you can really feel how much care and intention Nicky McIntosh and her team have put into creating the space. Their energy is so genuine, and it’s clear they’re building something special for our community.

IT’S NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK! 💚

This year’s theme is all about igniting volunteerism. Celebrating the impact volunteers have and inspiring more people to get involved in their communities.

A big thank you to our Board of Directors. Your leadership and commitment are vital to our organization and have a real impact across the South Fraser region, supporting local entrepreneurs, strengthening small businesses, and helping drive economic growth in our communities.

Thank you as well to Michael Berger, for his ongoing volunteer contributions. His time and commitment are a meaningful part of the work we do.

The Art Startup Challenge applications are closing soon!

This 8-week, in-person program is designed for new and emerging artists who want to build the business side of their creative work. You’ll join a small cohort of creatives for weekly workshops focused on market research, marketing, budgeting, and pitching, all in a supportive, artist-centered space.

The program runs April 1 – May 27, 2026 and wraps up with a live pitch event, where participants can win:

✨ $3,000 first place
✨ $1,500 second place
✨ A residency at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre

Throughout the program, you’ll learn from experienced facilitators and connect with local arts and culture leaders, while building confidence, clarity, and momentum in your creative practice.
