Conservatives have been fighting to lower gas prices for Canadians, and the Liberals have finally listened.
Extending the federal gas tax holiday until January will provide some relief for Canadians, but it’s only a half measure. Families, workers, farmers, and businesses need lasting relief, not temporary tax breaks followed by higher costs.
Conservatives will keep pushing to eliminate all federal taxes on gas and diesel until at least Canada Day 2027, putting more money back in Canadians’ pockets and making life more affordable.
