06/04/2026

A reminder that municipal by-law states that houses with odd numbers may only use municipal water outdoors on odd numbered days of the month and even house numbers may only use water outdoors on even numbered days of the month. For example, if your house number is 24, you can water on even days (2, 4, 6, etc.).

Additionally, you may only use water outdoors between the hours of 7am and 9am, and 7pm and 9pm on your designated days.

This includes irrigation, recreational use, watering gardens, washing your vehicle, and any other municipal water used outdoors.

Due to the increased demand for water during the hot and dry weather, following this by-law can make a huge difference in maintaining normal water pressure and municipal storage tank levels. This is especially important during low rainfall periods.

Thanks for doing your part to conserve water in Arran-Elderslie!
