The municipal office in Chesley will be closed on Monday, Sept 7th 2026 in observance of the Labour Day holiday.

School starts Tuesday!

A new school year means more students walking, biking and taking the bus. Please slow down, stay alert and watch for children near schools, crosswalks and bus stops.

Congratulations and Welcome to Cookies by Design and Cupcake by Design who held their grand opening in Chesley on Saturday. Deputy Mayor Jen Shaw joined them for a ribbon cutting which was followed by cookie decorating and a cupcake eating contest which looked like fun!
It's hard to miss this bright and cheerful new business with it's pink and black exterior at 95 1st Ave South. Drop by for a sweet treat, order custom treats for a special occasion, or visit for coffee and a breakfast sandwich.
