Ready to take the first step toward an exciting new adventure? Registration for the Cadet Program is easy!

📝 Step 1: Pre-register online
Follow the registration link and complete the online application –

You’ll want to have the cadet’s health card information handy, along with the contact information for parents/guardians.

📋 Step 2: Bring the required information
Once your application is submitted, our staff will be in touch with you about the next steps and completing the enrollment process. The cadet’s health card will need to be presented for verification, along with appropriate identification such as birth certificate or proof of legal residency.

🎖️ Step 3: Come meet us!
We’ll help you finish the registration process, answer any questions you may have, and get your future cadet ready to begin their journey! We are available most Monday nights from September to June, from 1830 to 2100 hours. (Holiday Mondays are excluded as we do not meet/parade these days.)

📅 Uniform Exchange Night (for current 294 Cadets)
Thursday, September 10
🕡 1830 to 2030 hrs (6:30 pm – 8:30 pm)

Parents, please bring your cadet for any required uniform exchanges. You may arrive anytime between 1830 hrs (6:30 pm) and 2030 hrs (8:30 pm). All staff will be available that evening to assist with sizing and exchanges.

Parents please wait for your cadet they will not be long.

Congratulations to FSgt Todoroff for completing his first solo Glider flight this week!

294 RCACS was given 1 spot for Glider Pilot this year and FSgt Todoroff earned that spot by attending ground school, testing well in the selection exam and getting through the interview process before finally being offered the spot.

We are so proud that he has completed his Solo flight and is going to bring back so much knowledge to our unit.

Congrats from 294 Staff, SSC and cadets.

📣 Royal Canadian Air Force Helicopter to Conduct Flypast in Chatham, in support of the Canadian Baseball League All-Star Game.

A CH-147F Chinook helicopter from the Royal Canadian Air Force is scheduled to conduct a flypast over Fergie Jenkins Field at Rotary Park in Chatham, on July 12, 2026. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝘆𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗹-𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲 and is expected to commence at approximately 2:00 pm.

The Royal Canadian Air Force ensures that flights are meticulously planned and closely monitored, with operations contingent on weather and flying conditions. The aircraft will operate at altitudes no less than 500 feet above the highest obstacle on their route and flight activities may generate unfamiliar noise in the area.

☀️ Happy Summer, 294 Chatham-Kent Air Cadet Squadron! ☀️

As we enjoy the summer break, we wanted to take a moment to wish all of our cadets and families a safe and enjoyable summer.

To those attending summer training, good luck! We hope you have an incredible experience, make new friends, learn lots, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Most importantly, stay safe and have fun!

For everyone else, enjoy your well-deserved break. We hope you spend time with family and friends and come back refreshed and ready for another exciting training year.

• September 10 – Clothing Exchange Night. This will be a quick evening to exchange uniforms and get everyone ready for the new training year.
• September 14 – Our first official training night of the 2026–2027 training year.
