On Sunday, August 9th - the six clubs in Chatham-Kent together hosted an event at Kingston Park in honour of a Rotary International Director, Marty Helman.

The afternoon was dedicated to fellowship, great company, good food and a tree planting.

The photos of the day tell the whole story, where 89 individuals took time out of their weekend to be with others who are making a lasting impact in their community.

What a great day it was. Thanks to all those who showed up!

Our keynote speakers today are Brock McGregor and Jay Smith from the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation. Our Club has provided substantial funding to Hospice since its founding in 2016. We appreciate you both coming today to share an update on Hospice in our community. Thank you!

We’re in the Event Centre at the Links today with President Dragica. We’ll be on summer break starting next week, and back to regular meetings in September. We’ll also have a special event happening in Chatham August 9th with all of our fellow CK Rotary Clubs. Looking forward to that!
