Next week, our team will release a new audit report looking at the management of capital building projects in the province. This report looks at 12 different projects and determines whether cost increases and reviews were done in accordance with Treasury Board policy.

Our follow-up report on the 2024 Health PEI Executive Leadership Team Compensation audit found that five of six recommendations we made have been implemented, with one recommendation no longer applicable due to a new compensation framework.

While the Office follows up on all performance audit reports, this follow-up was completed earlier than usual given the significant changes made to Health PEI’s leadership team since the initial publication.
