One of L.M. Montgomery's favourite places to walk was a path near her Cavendish Home that she called Lover's Lane. She often wrote in her journals about going for walks here, and this is what she said on May 24, 1893. "The trees are quite green now and blue and white violets and golden dandies are in season."

Today, you can walk Lover's Lane at Green Gables Heritage Place in Cavendish!

Maud and Ewan’s gravesite is receiving a makeover. The cedar trees surrounding the gravestone have been removed as work begins to refresh and care for the site for future generations of visitors.
It is certainly a change for those of us used to seeing the cedars there, but the space is being lovingly maintained❤️
