Rhonda Kraemer Wise running for town Council. Good morning Carstairs. Tomorrow is the big day for me and my fellow candidates. Do come out and vote.
On a side note but important. To volunteer for the fire dept is now as it closes on November 1. This is an important part of our community. When there was just a pumper truck, horse drawn, early 1900s every member of the communiy was expected to fight fires in Carstairs. There is a note on the board at the fire hall to that affect and a picture of the pumper in the hall.

Had a wonderful tour of the firehall in Carstairs. I learnt alot of what they do when on a call. Thanks to the fire hall for hosting.

Bingo tonight at the Royal Canadian Legion by the ATB main street 7pm.

It is quiet this week but noticed a ramp built for the community hall, due to construction, at that location. I believe it is for easy access on Oct 20 for voting. Removal Temporary Curb Ramps
As we prepare for the colder months, residents are reminded to remove any temporary curb ramps from the roadway. These ramps can obstruct snow clearing equipment and pose safety risks once winter maintenance begins.
Please ensure all curb ramps and similar structures are removed to help maintain safe and efficient road service through the winter.
