Carleton Place is a community built on strong families, local businesses, dedicated volunteers and neighbours who care deeply about the future of our town.
That’s why I’m proud to announce that I am seeking re-election in Carleton Place.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with people from many different backgrounds, listen to community concerns, and understand the importance of leadership that is approachable, accountable, and focused on results. I believe Carleton Place deserves leadership that listens first, acts with integrity, and works collaboratively to build a stronger future for everyone.

Our community continues to grow, bringing exciting opportunities but also important challenges. Residents are looking for responsible growth, improved infrastructure, safe neighborhoods, support for local businesses and thoughtful planning that protects the character of Carleton Place while preparing for the future.

Over the past 3.5 years, it has been an incredible privilege to serve the residents of Carleton Place. Much of the success and progress we’ve experienced has been possible because of the strength, collaboration, and dedication of our current council team. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together and grateful for the opportunity to work alongside council members who care deeply about our community. While there is always more work to do, I’m excited about the opportunities ahead and hopeful to continue this incredible journey with the current members of council as we work together for the future of Carleton Place.

If re-elected, my priorities will continue to include:
Supporting responsible and sustainable community growth.
Advocating for transparent and accountable decision-making.
Strengthening support for local businesses and economic development.
Improving infrastructure and community services.
Ensuring residents have a strong voice in the decisions that affect them.
Preserving the welcoming, small-town spirit that makes Carleton Place special.

I believe leadership starts with listening. Over the coming weeks and months, I look forward to speaking with residents, hearing your ideas, and learning more about the issues that matter most to you and your families. This re-election campaign is about continuing to work together to create a positive future for Carleton Place one built on respect, collaboration, and practical solutions.

I would be honored to earn your support. Together, we can continue making Carleton Place a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

Today, we pause to recognize the National Day of Mourning a day to remember and honor those who have been killed, injured, or made ill in the workplace.

Behind every statistic is a person a family member, a friend, a colleague whose life was forever changed. We take this time to reflect, to support those affected, and to renew our commitment to creating safer workplaces for everyone.

No one should risk their life simply by going to work.

Let us continue to raise awareness, advocate for safety, and ensure that every worker returns home at the end of the day.
