⚠️ WATER ON ROADWAYS – SOUTH OF MAGRATH ⚠️

Drivers are advised to use caution when travelling south of Magrath due to water overflowing onto area roads.

While there is nothing major to report at this time, County operators have placed signage and flagging in affected areas to alert motorists of potential washouts and water crossing roadways.

🚧 Areas of concern include:
📍 Range Road 223 – from the Magrath Water Plant to Magrath
📍 Township Road 52 – from Highway 5 to Highway 62

Please slow down, watch for signage, and use extra caution when travelling through these areas.

Cardston County crews will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as necessary.

The Town of Cardston is currently flushing fire hydrants. During this time, some Cardston South and Aetna water users may notice temporary changes in water colour or odour over the next couple of days.

FortisAlberta has scheduled a planned power outage in the Jefferson area to complete emergency repairs.

This outage is necessary to maintain the safety and reliability of the electrical system.
