Today, Recruit Constables Austin Toth and Keenan Yaschyshyn officially began their journey toward becoming police officers following a Swearing In/Oath of Confidentiality Ceremony held in Lethbridge.

BTPS is proud to have Austin and Keenan representing the Blood Tribe Police Service as they begin this challenging and rewarding training program alongside recruits from neighbouring agencies.

We wish all recruits the very best as they take this important step in their policing careers and look forward to welcoming them back to serve the community! πŸ‘πŸš”

This National Police Week, we recognize and honour the dedication, courage, and commitment of all officers who serve our communities each and every day.

Behind every badge is a promise to protect, serve, and care for the people we call home. Thank you to our members for the sacrifices you make and the pride you carry while serving the Blood Tribe.

We also extend our appreciation to all law enforcement agencies across the country for your continued service and commitment to public safety.

This past week on May 6, members of the Blood Tribe Police Service and Blood Tribe Crime Prevention Unit
were proud to attend McHappy Day in Cardston supporting McDonald’s in fundraising for the Ronald McDonald House by accepting donations at the drive thru and handing out police swag to help families with sick children.πŸŸπŸš”πŸ’›

Thank you to everyone who came out, stopped to visit with our officers, and supported McHappy Day. It was great to see the community come together in support of families through the work of Ronald McDonald House Charities.

We appreciate being part of such a positive community event and look forward to continuing to build strong connections with those we serve.
