💡 Throughout the week, OOWA will be sharing practical tips and resources to help you stay septic smart — whether you're a homeowner or a cottage dweller.

• Keep vehicles and heavy equipment off it.
• Avoid planting trees or shrubs nearby.

Something exciting is coming to Trent Hills!

United Way Northumberland is proud to launch the Trent Hills Day of Caring, taking place on Friday, October 23, 2026.

Day of Caring brings together volunteers, businesses, community organizations, and local residents for one shared purpose: strengthening our community through hands-on action.

The day begins with volunteers coming together to connect and prepare for a day of service before heading out across Hastings, Campbellford, and Warkworth to complete meaningful community projects. From helping food banks stock shelves, to painting a local community space, each effort creates lasting impact close to home.

Now, we're looking for local charities, non-profits, community groups, and other organizations with projects that could benefit from volunteer support. If there's a project you've been hoping to complete but need helping hands to make it happen, we'd love to hear from you.

The Municipality of Trent Hills proclaims September 2026 as Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Month and September 9, 2026 as Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Awareness Day.

The Clock Tower in Campbellford will join many landmarks in Canada, lighting up red for this September 9th to raise awareness of FASD.
