Today we honour the enduring cultures, languages, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. Their knowledge, traditions, and teachings continue to enrich our communities, demonstrating strength and resilience despite the lasting impacts of colonialism. As we celebrate, let us listen to Indigenous voices, deepen our understanding, and continue our shared journey toward truth, respect, and reconciliation.
