Cadets from will soon enough be heading to summer training.

Cadets going to camp should already be carefully reading their documentation ( and sharing it with their parents) - it covers lots of information.

Of note

- Cadets will travel in uniform- as seen in this photo in blue t-shirt and uniform pants.
- the departure location has MOVED - it's no longer on homer watson - it has moved to 97 and 401. See the details IN your document package.
- cadets need to ensure they have their document package, including the copy of their course offer.

And your health card. Always your health card.

With some final checks and adjustments - is ready for the 2026 Annual Ceremonial Review - marking for us 82 years as a squadron.

With 97 Cadets on parade - the planning and practices showed as cadets put on an exceptional presentation. With the pipes and drums singing - the Squadron proudly marched into place for the ACR.

After the inspection and march past the squadorn retired to then present two dynamic displays - a silent drill routine from our Champion 2026 Drill team, and a Freestyle routine from the 296 PIpes and Drums.

The Squadron then returned in full for the presentation of awards and a few words from the SSC Chair, the Reviewing Officer and the CO.

LCol Robinson, CD was our reviewing officer. Himself a 296 Alumnus, and an ongoing supporter of the cadet program - he had high praise for the cadets, for the staff, and for the teams of sponsors and parents that make the program work.
