Collaborating with community partners helps ensure our patients and their families are well supported in their health care journey.

Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario Wellington-Guelph (YWHO) Cambridge joined our staff to share information and mental health services. The session covered the YWHO Model, scope of mental health services and navigation they offer, and explored new ways to engage with YWHO Cambridge.

Thank you for an intriguing session on how our staff can better support youth in hospital and across the community.

What does hospital innovation mean for patients? Sometimes, it starts behind the scenes.

Cambridge Memorial Hospital partnered with the University of Waterloo’s Health AI and Analytics Lab to develop Picktacular, a new tool designed to help our operating room and inventory teams better review and standardize surgical supply lists.

The goal is to make it easier for teams to see supply patterns, reduce unnecessary variation, support smarter inventory decisions and limit avoidable waste.

For patients, this work supports a stronger, more efficient hospital system, helping care teams spend more time focused on what matters most: safe, high-quality care.

The platform is now under review at CMH. Learn more on our website. https://www.cmh.org/node/408.
