Dear Residents,

We have heard your concerns about snow removal on the pathways that the HOA has taken on through the Snow and Ice Removal Agreement (SNIC) with the City (not pathways being cleared by the City). We have selected a new contractor effective today December 17, 2024.

The new contractor was out today to assess the pathways and to begin working towards getting them back in good shape. In some areas, due to ice build up, sections of grass were swept to expose a safe place for people to walk. The crew will return later this week to apply ice melt/pickle and scrape, and then begin sweeping on the weekend.

Please be advised that icy conditions may exist on the pathways during this transition of contractors. While we take reasonable steps to maintain safe conditions, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of ice. Please exercise caution when walking on slippery surfaces.

Thank you to all that attended the Town Hall last week, in person and virtually. We appreciate you taking the time to take part, and engage with your CHOA team. There were lots of great questions asked, and positive discussions about what you want to see in the community moving forward. We look forward to hosting more frequent opportunities like this to connect.

Just a reminder that the Google form closes on Thursday, October 3rd. It is available to everyone, so please take a few moments to share your thoughts with us. The presentation slides (which were read through as shown) are available online for reference, and a complete summary of the Q&A plus Google form responses will be available by the 10th.

We understand that not everyone will be able to attend in person, so we are taking the following steps to offer the highest opportunity for engagement:

Tonight at the Hall: Food trucks will be on site from 5-8pm, with Alberta Burgers and Family Squeezed Lemonade. Grab a bite, and stay for the CCA revival meeting starting at 7pm (see details below).

Registration is open for our summer paint night event on July 17th. It's a perfect opportunity to enjoy a fun evening, close to home :)

Correction to be noted regarding waste disposal: the townhome residence complexes such as Arrive at Crestmont West were meant to be identified along with the businesses and organizations.

YYC food trucks will be on site from 5-8pm and Games night (new and improved - not just board games) starts at 6:30pm.

We haven't heard which trucks will be here, but will update as we know!
