Andrew School playground has unfortunately reached the end of it's life span and will be torn down over the summer of 2018; giving us less than a year to fundraise! Andrew Elementary School is a small but vibrant school that has proudly welcomed students from many surrounding SW Calgary communities for nearly 55 years! Our playground is not only an essential part of our children's school experienc
e as they learn and develop their physical and social skills, but it is also a gathering place for many families who live in and around the neighborhood. A safe outdoor play area is crucial and unfortunately inspections have indicated that our playground has reached its life expectancy and will be dismantled during the summer of 2018. Our school community is responsible for the purchase and installation of a new playground, which can cost upwards of $250,000. We have started this page to help raise the funds needed and to provide information about our various fundraising events. We are kindly asking for support from our valued community members (families and businesses alike) to sponsor upcoming events or to donate to our playground fund. There will be advertising opportunities available at our events, in our newsletters and on our social media platforms.
