Highwood Outdoor Pool

Highwood Outdoor Pool HOP is a seasonal outdoor pool located in the heart of the NW community of Highwood. If this becomes the case, we will issue a refund.

We are open seasonally; Fathers Day weekend Saturday in June to September Labour Day Monday. Public / Lane Swim times will proceed through rain or cooler temperatures, but not through unsafe weather. If a swim time must be cancelled due to unsafe weather, the Lifeguard staff will make the call just before the swim time starts before patrons enter the facility. Please keep in mind that Calgary weat

If patrons have started their Public / Lane swim time, but must evacuate the pool due to unsafe weather it is not our policy to offer a transfer or refund. All children age 7 and under must be in arms reach of a responsible person age 14+ at all times when in the facility.

The City wants to hear from Calgarians and businesses about how we can support efficient water use and conservation. HOP closed for the season on September 1 to prepare for the installation of our spiral slide and AquaZip, however Mount Pleasant Outdoor Pool and South Calgary Outdoor Pool are still open for a couple more days.
