⚖️ From Classroom to Courtroom

Navigating the justice system can be intimidating, especially for teenagers. That’s why PBSC Calgary partners with Reyes Law to bring the courtroom directly to Calgary schools through the Youth Criminal Court Mock Trial Project.

Our volunteers help students understand how the criminal justice system works by walking them through real-world scenarios under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The sessions end with an engaging mock trial where students step into the roles of lawyers, witnesses, and jurors, learning about the law, advocacy, and civic responsibility in a hands-on way.

The Youth Criminal Court Mock Trial is legal education that informs, empowers, and inspires Calgary’s next generation.

🎙️ Law Meets the Mic

Last year, the Hearsay Podcast brought together a brilliant team of law students who researched, scripted, hosted, and edited every episode from Alberta’s Bill 26 to the ripple effects of the Trump administration on the U.S. legal profession. Each episode was shaped by student voices and grounded in real legal questions.

Thanks to our partners and CJSW, we’re back to do it all over again. Stay tuned as applications open this September!
