Join us on October 29 at 7pm in the Founders' Room to discuss this month's book selection - "How to Read a Book" by Monica Wood. This is a charming, deeply moving novel about second chances, unlikely friendships, and the life-changing power of sharing stories.

Bring your questions, comments and thoughts and enjoy a riveting conversation with some light refreshments.

Have you read the book? What do you think of it?

🍂 Community Garden Fall Cleanup & Looking Ahead 🍂

As another wonderful growing season comes to a close, we invite 2026 Season gardeners to join us for our Fall Community Garden Meeting & Cleanup Day tomorrow, October 24.

My first year as a gardener has shown me that our community garden is about much more than growing vegetables and flowers. It is a place where neighbours connect, friendships grow, and knowledge is shared. Inspired by the generosity and welcoming spirit of our gardening community, I am pleased to join the Community Garden Committee as Communications & Membership Director.

📅 Tomorrow, October 24

10:00 a.m. Community Garden Meeting
Season highlights and updates
Planning for next year
Questions and discussion

10:45 a.m. Garden Cleanup
Remove plant debris
Prepare plots for winter
General site cleanup

⏰ Expected completion by 1:00 p.m.

🤝 We Need Your Help!
Many hands make light work. We encourage all gardeners to participate and help prepare the garden for winter and another successful season ahead.

🌱 Interested in Gardening Next Year?
