We were honoured last night to be recognized as the Outstanding Nonprofit Agency at the South Asian Inspiration Awards.

Standing among icons, artists, youth, and entrepreneurial members of Calgary’s South Asian community made this achievement even more meaningful.

This award reflects the collective efforts of our staff, volunteers, and partners, and it honours CIWA’s deep commitment to building strong partnerships that support immigrant women and their families across Calgary’s diverse communities.

Thank you to everyone who shared this celebration with us, you are part of this achievement!

With respect, understanding, and a commitment to learning from each other's unique experiences, we celebrate the strength that diversity brings. Together, we work toward building a society where everyone feels valued, respected, and heard.

Join us in promoting a world where racism has no home.
