At the family farm near Three Hills, Alberta, little Barty is his dad’s shadow. He dresses like dad, loves tractors like dad, and gets a little sad when dad heads out to the field without him.

Until recently, ultrasound technology was largely confined to the Diagnostic Imaging department. Today, thanks to donor support, portable ultrasound machines are increasingly used right at the bedside throughout the Alberta Children’s Hospital, allowing clinicians to assess and intervene faster.
