Meet Calla, a 7-year-old German Shepherd. This lovely lady is intelligent, attentive and patiently waiting to meet her FURever family!

Calla loves attention! She loves playing in our yard and spending time with her handlers. Calla knows some obedience commands, but she will require additional training with her new family.

Calla is very quiet; this is unusual for her breed. She is curious and friendly when meeting new people and she's had positive interactions with the other dogs in our care. We hope that she will have a new canine BFF soon!

Calla is a great choice for a family seeking a calm, mature dog without the worry of house-training a rambunctious puppy!

Introducing...Mr. Peanut, the ultimate gentleman! 🐱

Mr. Peanut was discovered on a local resident's property with visible wounds on his face. Our Animal Care Team nursed him back to health and he's ready to show you his true pURRsonality!

Mr. Peanut is the epitome of feline sophistication. He is the kind of cat who looks like he should be wearing a tiny tuxedo while lounging by a fireplace. With a calm demeanor and a heart full of affection, this debonair boy will bring an air of quiet luxury to your home!

Peanut can also be playful and outgoing. He has a bit of "catttitude" and wants to be the centre of attention in our adoption centre. He would do well in a home with a younger cat where he gets to be boss. 🐈

Diesel is a loveable 2-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix, and he's been waiting to be adopted for a while! 🐶⌛

He was transferred to us from another area and he's seeking an active family with a friendly, high-energy canine pal to play with regularly.

Diesel participated in some group dog obedience classes and was a very good student. He's learning "come," "sit" and walking on leash, however, he likes to pull his leash and will need additional training.

Here’s 3 reasons why you should consider adopting a cat from our shelter!

1. You’re supporting a good cause — Adoption fees to offset the cost of medical care, enrichment, and a safe place for other shelter cats.

2. You’re saving money — Shelter cats are already spayed/neutered and microchipped. Your new cat is also entitled to receive a free medical exam and 10% off vaccines within 14 days of adoption at participating veterinary clinics.

3. Your mental health and sleep may improve — Adopting a cat (or any animal from a shelter) may have a positive impact on your ability to cope with stress, depression, anxiety, and loneliness. Having a pet may also lead to better sleep!

UPDATE: David been adopted! Congratulations to this great pup and his FURever family!

Meet David, a 9-month-old Mastiff & Labrador Retriever mix! 🐶

David was transferred to us from another area. He has spent most of his young life in shelter and we would love for him to find his forever family!

David is an adorable pup with a playful spirit. He loves meeting new people and enjoys the company of other dogs. David has been learning his obedience skills and is an avid student; he is seeking a family that will continue to work on his skills.

David has met many friends at our shelter and he loves wrestling with his canine pals. He would do well in a home with another dog of similar energy.
