Dear Parents/Caregivers:

We would like to inform you that our school will be conducting a lock down drill on Thursday, April 30 at 9:30 AM in collaboration with the RCMP. This drill is part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and prepared school environment for all students and staff.

Please note that this is only a practice drill. There is no threat for cause and concern. The purpose of this exercise is to ensure students and staff are familiar with safety procedures and know how to respond effectively in an unlikely event of an emergency. Police officers will be present to support the drill and help us evaluate our procedures.

We understand that safety drills can sometime raise questions at home. We encourage you to speak with your child about the importance of these practices in a calm and supportive way. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school.
