NOTICE OF FIRST READING

RZ B-01-26: Bylaw No. 2113, 2026 to amend “Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako Zoning Bylaw No. 1800, 2020” (the Zoning Bylaw).

Purpose: Bylaw No. 2113, 2026 includes an amendment to the Waterfront Residential II Zone (R4) allowing two Single Family Dwellings without Secondary Suites on the subject property. The R4 Zone currently allows either one Single Family Dwelling with a Secondary Suite or one Two Family Dwelling.

Subject Property: 5485 Goodwin Road, approximately 4.5 kilometres northwest of the Village of Burns Lake. It is legally described as Part of the Southeast Portion of District Lot 2545, Range 5, Coast District, Plan 1634, Except Plan 1653.

Next Steps: The RDBN Board will consider First Reading on Thursday, August 20, 2026. Written submissions may be submitted and must be received by the RDBN no later than 4:30 pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 to ensure consideration by the Board.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR TEMPORARY USE PERMIT

TUP A-02-26 to permit a Temporary Use Permit on subject property in accordance with the terms outlined in the TUP for up to three years.

Subject Property: 6165 Donaldson Road (corner of Donaldson Road and Hwy 16), legally described as Lot A, Section 4, Township 4, Range 5, Coast District, Plan 11348 Except Plan PRP14965.

Purpose: to allow aggregate processing, including the use of a wash plant and crusher.

Next Steps: Will be considered by the RDBN Board on Thursday, August 20, 2026. Written submissions may be submitted and must be received by the RDBN no later than 4:30 pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 to ensure consideration by the Board.

One (1) Director to be elected for Electoral Area B (Burns Lake Rural)
One (1) Director to be elected for Electoral Area C (Fort St. James Rural)
