In the spirit of the holidays, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the people that I have met over the past 11 months since I joined the nomination race to seek the candidacy in the Burnaby North – Seymour riding for the Conservative Party.
Over this time period, I have met hundreds of dedicated Canadians who want to bring hope and prosperity back to our great country. I have met small business owners, university students, nurses, engineers, education assistants, veterans, and the list goes on.
While each story is unique, and each perspective valuable, they all share a common element – that after nearly 10 years of the Trudeau Liberals, Canada has lost its sparkle.
However, the malaise that Canadians feel from coast to coast to coast because of this lost decade is almost over. The implosion of the Liberal Party is almost complete. The last gasp of a tired and bloated government, struggling to maintain power, is upon us.
Canada is about to return from a long winter. The renewal of spring will usher in a new Conservative government, where Canada will once again be a place of promise, where people can once again make their dreams come true.
And it’s all because of people like you. The people who stood up and said, “no more!” The people who volunteered their time; the people who engaged in discourse; the people who made our democracy special. Meeting you all has been the greatest honor of my life and has brought great joy to my family.
2025 is the year we take back Canada. But until then, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
