🌱 As the Summer Solstice approaches, members of the BCIT community are beginning to celebrate through learning, connection, and shared experiences.

From community planting and sacred medicine teachings to First Nations songs and shared food, the Growing Together gathering brought people together to learn about Indigenous knowledge, culture, and food security.

For many Indigenous Nations, the Summer Solstice is a time of gathering, renewal, gratitude, and celebration. June 21 is also recognized as National Indigenous Peoples Day in Canada, honouring the histories, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in cultivating community and connection. 🌿💛

HearSmart™ is coming to the BCIT Aerospace Campus to provide complimentary hearing tests for ATC students ✈️

📅 Tuesday, June 2, 2026
⏰ 11 AM – 3 PM
📍 Outside the Aircraft Hangar, BCIT ATC Campus

Working in loud environments is common in aerospace and technical careers, and regular hearing tests are an important part of protecting your long-term health. This is a great opportunity to establish your hearing baseline early and learn how to protect your hearing throughout your career.
