The City’s street sweeping program remains underway across Burlington. Crews have completed most of the city, with approximately eight zones remaining. Areas currently being swept or are scheduled over the next two weeks include Tyandaga, Millcroft, Alton Village, the Corporate Drive area and Downtown Burlington.

Once work in these areas is complete, crews will move on to Headon Forest, Mountainside and Mount Forest areas.

The program is expected to wrap up by the end of June.

Today, we raised the flag at City Hall in recognition of Seniors’ Month.

During this time, we recognize older adults and the vital contributions they make to the vibrancy of our communities. The City of Burlington acknowledges the importance of supporting seniors' health and well-being and of creating opportunities to stay socially connected and engaged in our community.
