Retirement And Long Term Care home In 2013, Tansley Woods off Upper Middle Road in Burlington expanded to serve residents in retirement and long-term care.

It was the first village to open The Ruby, a full-service dining restaurant on the village’s 10th Floor overlooking Lake Ontario.

What a wonderful way to celebrate Grandparents Day! 💗
Over the weekend, we welcomed family and friends into our Village for a Grandparents Day Carnival filled with games, prizes, laughter & plenty of fun! 🎟️🎠 It was wonderful to see generations come together and create special memories with our residents.
A very special thank you to our local Tim Hortons for helping make the day even sweeter! 🍪 They hosted a complimentary pop-up shop for our residents and families, serving delicious coffee & cookies to all! ☕️
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our Grandparents Day celebration such a memorable one! 🏡💓

Our Tansley Trippers are off to an eventful start on their trip in Porto! In true Portuguese tourism fashion, they have been sampling w**e, fabulous seafood meals, and tasty Portuguese tarts 🍷🦐
Boat rides on the Douro river and historical sight seeing has kept them busy and learning while great company and weather has added that perfect element of relaxation.

Cotton candy, popcorn, lemonade, balloon animals, face painting, lots of games, and of course a dunk tank - the best way to close up the summer with our annual carnival! 🎆

Tansley Woods brought art and community together by hosting an art show!
We are so grateful for the participation of the BurlingtonFineArts association, showcasing some local talent in our own neighbourhood.
Alongside the BFAAs beautiful pieces, residents were able to display their own creative endeavours like woodworking, pottery, paper mache, collaging, art journals, a community weave, and LTCs “Trees of Life”! Our awesome art therapists worked hard to bring many of these into existence over the past few months.
When we create and share our artistic expressions, it builds connection and contributes to a universal understanding of what it means to be human.

We celebrated Canada Day in Tansley style: ceremony, trivia, games, BBQ, and song!
A poem by Bruce Meyer, a Canadian academic, says, “I am Canadian, a quilt of many cultures sewn together in a single nation”. So on this day, we celebrate the beautiful mosaic of communities that come together to create Canada and its inclusive spirit and the strength derived from embracing our diversity! 🇨🇦

🌷 April is in full bloom, and so is joy in our Village! 🌷
We’re celebrating the season with a delightful Easter Tea - complete with delicious carrot cake, sweet treats, and plenty of Easter chocolate to go around. 🐣🍫 Surrounded by laughter, good company, and springtime cheer, it’s moments like these that make our Village so special.
