I wanted to officially share my news now that registration has closed...I am running for the position of HCDSB Trustee in the upcoming municipal election.

I did not make this decision lightly. The last couple years, I’ve been frustrated watching what has been happening at our board meetings, especially as a parent! But I can sit back and continue to complain OR I can do something towards changing it. I choose change. And it begins with running for Trustee.

As I start this new journey, I am reminded of Brené Brown’s wise words: Choose the great adventure of being brave and afraid at the exact same time.

I’ll be sharing further details and ways to join me in the upcoming weeks. In the meantime…
