We are looking for TWO Seasonal Equipment Operators – specializing in Dozer & Excavator to join our Construction team!

This position involves maintaining our irrigation distribution and drainage system, including ditch cleaning, repairing washouts, installing culverts, structures and pipelines, and placing riprap, armour and gravel.

We’re looking for:
• 2+ years of equipment operating experience preferred
• Experience with heavy equipment
• Basic surveying experience with lasers & GPS
• Basic knowledge of earthworks and site plans
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence

The Eastern Irrigation District’s water delivery system will be shut down for the season on Thursday, October 8, 2026.

This includes all irrigation services, as well as water delivery to farmyards and acreages. Please make sure your irrigation needs and winter storage requirements are taken care of before this date.
