⛸️ Learn to Skate registration is open!

Thanks to funding from Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities, 30 sponsored spaces are available for children ages 8-12 who may face financial barriers to participating in skating programs.

The program runs Sept. 14, 16, 21, 23, 28 and Oct. 5 at Sparrow Arena.

Families interested in a funded space can email Jenelle Marion at [email protected] for more information.

A new commemorative crosswalk has been painted across from Veterans Park in downtown Brooks.

Featuring four maple leaves and the inscription "In Honour of Those Who Served and Sacrificed," the crosswalk serves as a tribute to Canadian veterans and all those who have served our country.

A special thank you to our local veterans and the Brooks EID Legion No.63 for their support and approval of this year's design.
