We had a great time at the 171st Spencerville Fair this weekend! 🚒🎡

Thank you to the Township of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal and the Edwardsburgh Cardinal Firefighters Association for inviting Leeds Grenville Paramedic Service to be part of the Touch-A-Truck event. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with residents, meet future paramedics, and see all the incredible attractions the fair had to offer.

We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

The 2026-2027 school year is underway, with some local school boards already welcoming students back and the remaining students returning to class next week.

As school buses hit the roads and more children walk, bike, and scoot to school, we encourage everyone to take extra care during their morning and afternoon commute.

Driving Safety Tips:
• Obey posted speed limits in school zones
• Stop for school buses when they are loading and unloading students
• Watch for children travelling to and from school by foot, bicycle, or scooter
• Allow extra travel time as traffic volumes may increase around schools

Every child deserves a safe trip to and from school.

What a great way to spend a Saturday!

LGPS was pleased to attend the G. Tackaberry & Sons Construction Company Limited 11th Annual Truck Show, where families, community members, and truck enthusiasts came together for a fantastic day.

A huge thank you to Children's Services of United Counties of Leeds and Grenville for organizing another amazing event. With fantastic weather and an incredible turnout, it was wonderful to see so many families enjoying the day and exploring the vehicles up close.

"When Moments Matter At The Cottage"

We were approached by the Lower Beverley Lake Association to do a brief presentation about cottage first aid and safety recently at their annual BBQ.

Last week, we had the privilege of recognizing an important professional milestone within our team!

Congratulations to Michael on successfully completing the requirements to become an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP). Chief Carss was proud to present Michael with his ACP epaulette, marking this significant achievement in his career.

Achieving ACP certification is no small accomplishment. It requires countless hours of education, clinical training, examinations, and a commitment to professional excellence. More importantly, it reflects a dedication to continually enhancing the care and service we provide to our patients and communities.

Michael's determination, resilience, and commitment to lifelong learning exemplify the values of our profession. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful to have him as part of the LGPS team.
