In 2025, more than 2,600 income tax returns were completed through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program in Leeds & Grenville.

This free program helps eligible individuals and families access the benefits and credits they're entitled to—and it's one of the many Volunteer Centre programs that continues today through United Way Leeds & Grenville.

While this page won't be active forever, the work continues.

To our Volunteer Centre community — while the Volunteer Centre of St. Lawrence-Rideau is closing, the community programs you know and rely on are continuing through United Way Leeds & Grenville Community Programs.

Nichole Lapointe will continue supporting community members and helping deliver programs including LEAP, the Urgent Needs Fund, and the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program.

Services remain available in the same location at 42 George Street in Brockville (2nd floor), and the phone number remains the same: 613-499-9393.

We know this transition brings many questions, and our shared priority has always been ensuring these important supports continue with care, compassion, and as little disruption as possible for the community. 💙
