Larry’s Paddle Battle is filling up FAST!

Join us for a Yacht Rock–themed pickleball tournament in support of the Brockville and Area Community Foundation 🧡

🍕 Pizza dinner and snacks throughout day
🍹 Cash bar
🎸 Yacht Rock. Pickleball. Prizes. Fun.

Everyone registers individually, and we will take care of assigning players to teams ahead of the tournament.

Whether you’re a seasoned player or just love a good rally, this one is open to ALL levels.

Summer, you were a good one. 🧡

September is underway and granting season has officially begun! But before we fully dive in, we wanted to take a quick look back at a few highlights from the past couple of months.

Lots of community, connection, learning, celebrating and plenty of family time mixed in.

From gathering with the people who make our work possible, to celebrating our community and preparing for another big granting season, it was a full and meaningful summer.

Not sure which 2026 Grant Stream is right for your project? We’ve created four ways to find support from the Brockville & Area Community Foundation.

Here’s the simplest way to think about them:

COMMUNITY IMPACT GRANT 🧡
This is support for something meaningful that already exists - an established program or project addressing a demonstrated community need.

CATALYST GRANT 🧡
This is an investment that helps something change, grow, launch or significantly strengthen.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP GRANT 🧡
This is a substantial investment in something strategically important to our community - tied to a broader community priority or significant opportunity.

MULTI-YEAR GRANT 🧡
This is funding designed to provide sustained support when the nature of the work requires investment over multiple years.

LARRY’S PADDLE BATTLE IS BACK! ⛵️

Get ready for a yacht rock - themed pickleball tournament like no other.

On October 17, teams of 8 - 12 will battle it out across gender doubles, mixed doubles, singles and a team rally finale - with points adding up throughout the day to crown the winning team.

$100/player includes:

• Pizza dinner + snacks
• Cash bar
• Yacht rock tunes
• Pickleball
• $50 charitable donation receipt
• And, of course, the time of your life!

A huge thank you to the Women’s Invitational at the Brockville Country Club for choosing the Brockville & Area Community Foundation as their charity of choice this year! ⛳️

Their tournament in June raised an amazing $3,500 for our Community Fund and that gift was MATCHED, doubling the impact to $7,000 for our community!

And we are thrilled to share that we’ll be their charity of choice again next year! We’re so grateful for this continued partnership and can’t wait to see what Year Two brings! 🏌️
