🎢 Join for our final Music on the Riverbank concert of the season, and help us kick off our 5th annual Harvest Moon Music Festival!

This Thursday, Collage takes the stage!

Collage is a South Shore Based vocal group assembled in 2005 under the name Sweet Harmony. The group has a large repertoire of Maritime and East Coast Music, along with many folk, jazz, β€œroots” and popular numbers that are international in nature.

Come down to Pijinuiskaq Park at 6:30 p.m. on September 17 to listen.

Join us to harvest almonds at the Bridgewater Community Gardens and share in cultural dishes from around the world that feature the versatile nut! Come and enjoy or bring a dish from your culture to share that celebrates almonds or other nuts.
A harvest demonstration and almond sharing will take place as well as examples of other nuts grown around town in the Bridgewater parks as a part of the Bridgewater Community Garden plantings! A nutty event for all ages!

Bridgewater Town Council will hold its next Regular Meeting on Monday September 14, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m. These meetings are open to the public to attend and take place at Town Hall, which is located at 60 Pleasant Street.

Remember, if you can't attend the meeting in person but still want to keep up with what's going on, you can livestream the meeting on the Town of Bridgewater's page starting at about 5:55 p.m. You can also watch all archived meetings of Council on the Town's YouTube channel.

Join us on September 19 and 20 for the 3rd annual Pijinuiskaq Paddle Festival!

Don't miss the Parade of Paddlers where dozens of people in kayaks, canoes and on SUPs will paddle from Bridgewater to Miller Point Peace Park for a BBQ! This free event will be a fun experience for paddlers of all levels. It's a great way to experience Pijinuiskaq (the LaHave River). The paddle will start and end at Shipyards Landing.

On Saturday September 19, try your hand at Big Canoe (10 person) Paddling between 2-4pm from Pijinuiskaq Park during Harvest Moon Music Festival.

Or plan to join Cape LaHave Adventures on September 19th for a guided, full-day, paddle among the Cape LaHave Islands! Spaces are limited and registration is required.

Pijinuiskaq Paddle Fest is proudly presented by Canoe Kayak Nova Scotia, Cape LaHave Adventures, Town of Bridgewater, and the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg. We look forward to seeing you out on the water, or along the shoreline cheering paddlers along!
