We're back with another puzzle competition this month!

The Piece by Piece: Library Puzzle Challenge is taking place on Thursday, September 17th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Lakefield Library. Gather a group of up to four people and try your hand at speed puzzling! The fastest team to complete a 500-piece puzzle will win a $100.00 gift card to a local restaurant!

Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Location: Lakefield Library, 8 Queen Street, Lakefield (in the Centennial Room)

We’re back with another Travel Tuesday - this time with a packing challenge! The challenge is to fit a two-week travel capsule wardrobe into two pieces of carry-on luggage from our Travel Gear Collection. As you can see in the video, everything on our packing list fits with room to spare! Travelling this light isn’t for everyone, but it’s a great option for those looking to avoid costly baggage fees and lugging around weighty suitcases. Our Storywalk is up early! Visit the Lakefield Library to read the book, "7 Ate 9," by Tara Lazar as you walk through the park. Kids can also complete the associated scavenger hunt and enter your paper into our prize draw by dropping off your sheet or emailing your sheet to us. Don't dawdle - the Storywalk disappears the evening of September 7th!

Our Storywalk and scavenger hunt for the book, 'A Garden to Save the Birds,' is posted outside the Ennismore Library from Friday until Monday evening. Enjoy a sweet story as you take a little stroll among the flowers. Hunt sheets can be downloaded from our program calendar, screenshot from the title page in the garden, or picked up inside during open library hours. We will draw for one winner next week!
