Join us for a magical morning of stories, songs, and nature - Victoria Butterfly Gardens is partnering with the Greater Victoria Public Library to bring families free monthly Storytimes in our atrium. Storytime features engaging stories, songs, and interactive fun inspired by nature, butterflies, and the changing seasons.⁠

After Storytime, you can continue the adventure by exploring thousands of free-flying butterflies, tropical birds, turtles, flamingos, and lush rainforest plants with the purchase of regular Garden admission. See you there!

Have you seen our new Leaf Cutter Ant enclosure? Designed by the talented folks at Leaf House Scientific , our ants got their acrylic homes upgraded to stainless steel and glass.

Getting them transitioned to their new homes included sorting through the ant fungus to find their queen, then safely transporting her to their new home.
